Welcome!

Welcome to the new Spiritual Personality Blog. Spiritual Personality was started last year, and while I can trace some roots way back into my training in psychiatry and even some inspirational moments in my childhood, it pretty much fell from the sky in 2008, when it became very clear that there needed to be a personality system based on spiritual purpose, and that this rather large job was mine. Downloading the basis of the system, the types themselves and how to tell one from the next was all sheer joy. The information just flowed easily, and connected up well. Getting it onto the web, and the bugs worked out was a bit more difficult, but still mostly fun. The scariest part was attaching my art to the site. That felt like a somewhat unwanted exposure, but the art fit with the site, and users have felt that it is part of the totality of the experience. Lots of thanks to the web designer, Clint Zavodny of Sly Mongoose, who not only designed the site beautifully, but rightfully insisted that a different painting appear on each screen that the user sees. Chee's Web Design also contributed to the initial look of the site.

Where the site goes next depends largely on you, the user and we hope, fan. If you resonate with your type, and believe in this project, tell people that you know, post comments here and on Facebook, and keep us in your hearts. This project is about as grassroots as they get, and it is heartwarming to see the word spread without a big ad campaign.

I hope to pop back into this blog, but the person who got it going is Maggie McLeod, who is a gifted intuitive artist, a talented writer, and a very clear spiritual seeker. I didn't know Maggie until she found Spiritual Personality. Several wonderful people have proposed that Spiritual Personality should have a blog, but Maggie stepped up to inspire and for the most part, write it.
