The fourth type in the Spiritual Personality system is the Marraker and that is pronounced mah-rah-ker, with the emphasis on the first syllable. Marraker means the leader of the realm of the Earth. This type is about the organizers of the planet and those amazing people who bring loving order to the worlds’ chaos through true leadership.
The Marrakers inspire us to think about what we are doing with our gift of time? As we are eternal beings having human experiences I believe it is important to honour the mystery, power and paradox of time. From a spiritual perspective, time can be seen as a resource that our soul uses to create our life with. I believe the Marrakers are leading us in the direction that our soul is calling us to go, while reassuring us that we are playing our part within the cosmic order of things. Our ego’s job is to keep itself alive by preventing us from realizing the Truth of our direct connection to the divine. One very effective way our ego thrives is by pressuring us with the concept of time, and has us convinced that we cannot live without it.
The Marrakers of the world remind us that we are a part of a divine organizational intelligence. It often seems that we are so busy reaching for the next thing that is going to give us a brief glimpse of happiness that we fail to see the little moments of happiness in the here and now. The Marraker within is guiding us to become aware of how we organize the details in our own life and supports us in recognizing the everyday miracles. One way that I am able to do that is by realizing when I am getting caught up in the past or worrying about my future. By staying grounded and fully present I actually can feel the power and mystery of time beating to the rhythm of life.
I believe the Marrakers of the past helped shape all of the world’s beautiful religions. These religions are full of profound rites and rituals to honour and support us in connecting with the sacredness within each other and ourselves. There is a rhythm, rhyme and reason to life that beats so clearly. Yet if we are not in the right space we can’t see or feel the miraculous gift that life really is. It is only when we dare to look deeply within ourselves, we can to tune into both our divinity and humanity and find the threads of Truth that connect those two aspects of our being. I believe it is with these threads of Truth that we fabricate our lives. The gift the Marrakers bring to the world today is they have made the connection between their thoughts and feelings and how reality is created deep within the sacred space of the human heart and for this I am very grateful.
